Having grown up near Boston, I was never far from the
old Italian neighborhoods with their pizza joints,
sit-down restaurants, and of course, my grandmother's
cooking! Coming to Denver, I didn't know what to expect
except the pizza chains you get on every corner of America.
Pizzeria Colore was a pleasant surprise. They serve up
crisp salads, hot pizza, hot and cold pastas, and
homemade sweets. One of the things I was looking for
right away, was NY-Style pizza. The big cheesy slices
that have crispy crust, and plenty of pepperoni. Wow!
It was just like home. Nowhere else can you get pizza
like this in Denver!
Pizzeria Colore ensures a quick bite during your lunch
hour. Grab a tray and move along the line, placing
your order while eyeing your choices behind the glass
countertop cases. The dining area is a pleasant little
spot reminiscient of a traditional neighborhood pizza
joint with contemporary accents.
Not only is the food fantastic, the people are very friendly!
Everytime I go back, it's like walking in to an old familiar
place, and everything's right there waiting for me. Service
with a smile, and sometimes a joke or two, Pizzeria Colore is
the place to be in Denver.
